3.Work achievements

Managed 2 projects from Nation Natural Sceince Foundation of China and 3 projects from local governments. Attended several projects from the National government.From 2006, there were 75 papers in Chinese and 31 in English as SCI published. As one author, published two books of 'Water and Soil conversation of China' and 'Soil Science Dictionary'. Won a second grade prize from the National Forestry Bureau.

 

4.Scientific discoveries

In recent years, my work focuses on carbon and nitrogen cycle in forest soil. According to a bivirate model proposed, the carbon stock of bamboo forest in China was estimated in a more precision. Based on a long-term study, the mechanism of bamboo degradation with mulching technique was explored, and corresponding measures were presented to improve the bamboo production. In artifical forests, methods of green manure and litterfall decomposition were introduced to improve soil fertility.
