3.Work achievements

For a long time, he has been engaged in research on key technologies of soil environmental pollution control and remediation in agricultural product producing areas, mechanism and prevention and control of continuous cropping of peanuts, pollution control and recycling of large-scale breeding. He has had exchanges and visits at Durham University in the UK, Kiel University in Germany, LDD Department of Agriculture in Thailand, Blacksmith Environmental Research Institute in the US, Melbourne University in Australia, Wageningen University in the Netherlands, etc. Managed more than 10 research projects,including National Key

Technology Research and Development Program of China, Special Fund for Agro-Scientific Research Program in the Public Interest, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Special Local Bid for Heavy Metal Control Project, Innovative Knowledge Engineering Project of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Major Research&Development Project in Jiangxi Province. The study has led to the publication of more than 200 papers, including more than 80 peer reviewed SCI papers, 6 provincial and national awards, 8 authorized invention patents, and 1 national standard. In 2006, he was selected into the first and second level of Jiangxi new century hundred and ten million talents project. In 2007, he was approved by Jiangxi provincial government as an expert enjoying special government allowance. In 2011, he was selected into Jiangxi poyang 555 project leading talent cultivation plan. In 2019 he was seleted to be scientist of national modern agricultural industry system of peanut soil environmental management and remediation

 

4.Scientific discoveries

In recent years, focusing on the agricultural production process in the prominent environmental problems, the systematic and innovative research works were conducted on mechanism and control of soil continuous cropping, pollution control of large-scale breeding and resource recycling, soil environment of agricultural products producing area and remediation of contaminated soil. (1) The mechanism of the high incidence of soil borne diseases of continuous cropping peanut was clarified. The prevention and control technology for soil-borne diseases of continuous cropping peanuts and the special fertilizer for acid soil continuous cropping peanuts were developed with peanut production increased by more than 15%. The achievement "Research and application of continuous cropping obstacle control and key technologies for high yield and efficiency of peanut in red soil hilly area" won the second prize of science and technology progress of Jiangxi province in 2015;(2)The national standard 《Safety thresholds of cadmium, lead, chromium, mercury and arsenic in upland soil for growing root vegetables》(GB/T 36783-2018) was drafted and participated in the drafting of the national standard 《Soil environmental quality Risk control standard for soil contamination of agricultural land》(GB 15618-2018). It provides a theoretical basis for the risk assessment and structural adjustment of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil. High quality soil passivation improved materials and low accumulation crop varieties were screened, low price, high efficiency and environmental friendly remediation conditioner for acidic soil containing excessive copper and cadmium was developed, a fast evaluation method for stability of heavy metal in situ passivator was proposed, in situ passivation of heavy metals + root protection technology/ion antagonistic resistance control technology were developed. After the application of the technology, the cadmium content of agricultural products decreased by 70%, and the compliance rate significantly increased. The achievement "Key technologies and applications for the safe use of farmland with excessive heavy metals and rare earth tailings" won the first prize of science and technology progress of jiangxi province in 2017.
